Art Classes at Front Street Gallery

Collage Classes for Kids begin October 1st.
Artist
Jeanette Rodriguez and The Front Street Gallery are pleased to present
Collage Illustration classes for children ages 6 to 12. Whether you
have never done collage before, you will be creating and exploring the
wonderful world of Collage.
Students will work with photographs, texture paper, press flowers, leaves, found objects, etc...
Classes are taught by professional award winning 3D illustrator Jeanette Rodriguez.
" I truly believe every child has the ability to develop their creative
side which enhances so many aspects of their lives. Many of the
projects presented in my art class call on the students' ability to
problem solve. They learn about artists, history, design, other
cultures. Hopefully, they take away a greater appreciation for beauty
and learn to be more aware of the many solutions available when you are
a creative thinker."
Classes will run on Saturdays from
1:00 to 2:30 pm.
Classes are limited to five students.
4 sessions $120 Drop in fee $35

Introduction to Drawing & Painting
for Adults - Wednesdays
Wednesdays from 10:30am -1:30pm
drop in fee $37.50 for 3 hrs. studio class
150.00 for 4 sessions
An Introduction to Drawing and Painting will begin with basic ideas on
drawing from life using still life objects and/or photographs. Simple
techniques will be explored explaining terms like edge work, tonal
shading, compostion, light/dark and color studies, etc. With concrete
information and practice, anyone can learn to draw and paint well and
become creatively selective in their own work. (I will
supply
newsprint for sketching, drawing boards, variety of drawing tools,
canvas boards, umber oil paint for tonal wash-in.)
